CIA & The Coup Attempt in Turkey

“Just think a moment about what is happening right now, your children and grandchildren to read in 25 years, as now people read about the overthrow in 1953 of Prime Minister of Iran Mohammed Mossadegh’s. Lawrence Wilkerson

The CIA played a role in the attempt of a military coup in Turkey, says Lawrence Wilkerson.

Wilkerson is the former chief of staff to former US Secretary of state Colin Powell.

“I think it is undeniable that John Brennan and others knew about what was happening in Turkey, and it is clear that we (the USA — ed.) had to do something,” said Wilkerson Sputnik.

“Either we are internally advised to refrain from doing so, which happens from time to time, or, conversely, greatly contributed to this, or something between,” he added.
